About the role

IWDT is looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Amman on a full-time, on-site basis. You will shape enterprise software architecture, system integration, and solution design while working with technical and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define application architecture, integration patterns, and technology stacks.
• Design scalable solutions using microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
• Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and solution design documents.
• Evaluate technologies and recommend appropriate architectural approaches.
• Ensure alignment with performance, scalability, security, and availability requirements.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a Solution Architect role.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integration.
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, and application security.
• Understanding of containerisation, Kubernetes, and cloud or on-premises deployment environments.
• Arabic and English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to high-availability and mission-critical enterprise systems.
• Experience with architecture modelling tools and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and integration technologies.
